Mary & Susan's Story
The Jersey Chix were actually friends and band mates for many years. Mary Tomaselli and Susan Hall have always been in the spotlight, either separately or together, pursuing their singing careers.
Mary pursued her ambitions from a young age, recording albums, singing concerts worldwide, and performing on cruise ships, as well as leading her own band “Private Affair” for several years. Mary enjoyed a top 40 Billboard hit “Sweet Heat” in the 1980’s.
Susan, while singing jingles, opening for star comics at Dangerfields in New York City, and performing concerts in Atlantic City (among many other ventures), has been performing since she was a young girl, wowing audiences and eventually leading her own show band “Rhythm of Life” with Mary.
Mary and Susan are best friends and have always made New Jersey their home base. They work incredibly well together, and have once again reunited to do what they love to do the most: perform for live audiences everywhere. With their undeniable charismatic chemistry, they bring their seamlessly blended voices to the stage--two voices that compliment one another like no other vocal duo performing today. Covering everything from Broadway to Motown to jazz and rock, audiences everywhere enjoy their dynamic personalities, style, and utmost professionalism.
